Introducing our 2014 season robot, Odin

Wisconsin Regional Finalist

Nordic Storm was the fourth seeded alliance captain at the Wisconsin Regional in Milwaukee. We picked team 706 CYBERHAWKS and team 1259 Paradigm Shift to join our alliance, and after some hard-fought eliminations we advanced to the finals where we lost to the amazing alliance of team 2481 Roboteers, team 1732 Hilltoppers, and team 2202 BEAST Robotics. We walked away in high spirits with the regional finalist award.

Lake Superior Regional Champion

Nordic Storm was the second seeded alliance captain at the Lake Superior Regional in Duluth, Minnesota. We picked team 2052 KnightKrawler and team 3692 Rock N' Robots to join our alliance, and after some exciting qualification matches we won the regional! We also were honored to receive the Innovation in Control award.

Week Zero event

We hosted a Week Zero event on our field on Saturday, February 15th. Eight other teams joined us for a day of driving, working, sharing, and rounds of Aerial Assist.

MN River Rendezvous

Our off-season practice event on November 9th, MN River Rendezvous, was very successful! Thank you to our partner in this event, 2220 Blue Twilight, and to all the teams who presented or attended.

We're back from St. Louis

We have returned from the FIRST Championship tournament in St. Louis and had a fantastic time. We were honored to receive the Creativity Award sponsored by Xerox for our creative solution to the climbing challenge.
